A New Significant Find
In 1928, after reading a story in a New York-based newspaper, businessman Gilbert Hedden became infatuated with the idea of discovering the truth. He gathered a group of men and embarked on an adventure to Nova Scotia. Along with Fred Blair, he went to the island, and a new investigation was underway. He developed a series of engineering marvels that would ensure safer drilling; however, what he found in the pits would be a much more significant find.
