This ending still has some fans highly upset. For an ending to just be flat out bad, okay, that’s why we are here. However, you can’t end a series with “To Be Continued…” on a black screen and not expect all viewers to be completely outraged! The cliffhanger was the paternity of Joy’s son. And finding out who a parent is was probably the ultimate cliffhanger to set up a new season, however, a new season never came around. NBC had plans of picking up the show beyond the fourth season, but apparently they never got the chance to.
