Marvin Gaye

Shot to death by his own father over a heated argument related to an insurance policy, Grammy-winning singer, Marvin Gaye, was just one day away from turning 45. Marvin’s father was a retired minister; however, rumors had evolved that he ran an extremely abusive household from the very early years of Marvin Jr.’s life.  Ironically enough, Marvin Jr. was shot in the chest 3 times and killed by the very gun he had given to his father.
